Even with the improved Shield Plus the Sig P365 XL has the advantage in capacity, tac rail, and optics (I'm 42 and my eyes aren't getting any younger). This seems like the logical answer but my view of Sig as a company isn't the greatest after they dropped support for the only other Sig I've purchased. I find I shoot better with the Sig. Sig is a little prouder of their mags than S&W, but at least you can *get* them. And with options like the Tac Pack, you can get 3 mags with the p365. Comparing my new P365 XL to my Glock 43X the first thing you notice is that besides holding 2 more rounds in the magazine, the grip is actually shorter. The overall ergonomics are much better also. I think Sig has finally worked all the bugs out of the P365 system and IMO the XL version is my favorite one.
