As I process my ended relationship with a pwBPD, so many things now make sense from the perspective of BPD. It was only a six month relationship, and I discovered she had BPD around month three, but it’s taken the past few months (and the repeating cycles in the relationship) to now have what seems like a near-complete picture of what happened and why. I know I read some Freud and Jung theories on the ‘inner child’ and that some might tend to regress to a ‘safer’ age. Sometimes I feel like a total kid. But sometimes I would say I feel like my very angry 13 year old self as well. There is a "borderline sexism". Female borderlines are hysteric and males just have ptsd.
