So each configuration should be equally rare statistically speaking. Each ship has its own unique seed. You can spawn a ship of your choosing in the game if you have its seed. There's one site devoted to seeds.It is highly recommended to look for S class ships in a wealthy system (Advanced, Affluent, Booming, Flourishing, High Supply, Opulent, Prosperous, Wealthy), since they have a higher chance of spawning an S class. Natural S-class "Salvaged" ships are… rare, to say the least. In total, I've found ~10 ships. Most found were from T3 and pirate systems. None were S-class. Update: after counting, I have found fifteen salvaged ships, yet none were S-class. On the upside, I now have a savefile with 12 salvaged ships!About your ship, we now have a new 21 slots inventory section so even if we fill the main inventory with upgrades it is largely enough. And you can get a hauler beside your main ship, it can be upgraded to 48/21/42 with no need to put upgrade modules in the main inventory. That will give you 90 slots in one ship🥳.
