Holley carb date codes
Your date code "123" could be a 1961 or '71 carb, third week of Feb. The only mention I see of that carb number is for use on a 1964-'65 Corvette w/a 327. I'm not much on Corvette info, perhaps there's some other explanation of the carb. For instance, a Holley was used in 1971 on the 330 HP 350 cid engine, lesser engines got the Q-jet.Nov 22, 2009 · The carb is a 4053 but is date coded to June 2, 1969. The carb need to be gone through and replated. Is the carbs date close enough to the build date of the car (and engine) to be considered normative practice or do I need to commence hunting for a later dated carb for the car to be "correct"? That date is fine for your car.
