Starting the Quest. Talk to the Crystal Exarch in The Crystarium to begin the quest. Speak with the Crystarium Gatekeep. Before you proceed, go north to the nearby Aethernet Shard and attune to it. Then go east to the quest icon on the map and talk to the Crystarium Gatekeep, and say Yes to enter the Crystal Tower. There will be a cutscene.There are three parts of the crystal tower.
