I don't know about converting furniture, but I can vouge for Apex Cages. You can build it slowly over time because their cages are made to attach to each other. I personally am in the process of building a 12ft L x 3ft deep x 4 ft high enclosure for my biggest girl, and I'm doing it using their cages. It might be a little expensive, but nothing ...
