Basically the thing with the Burgundian inheritance is that you need to have a royal marriage when charles (?) dies, and if they were the one who sent the marriage offer, you'd lose it on his death, thus making you ineligible. Burgundian inheritance is the most complicated event in the game. There is A LOT that goes into it. But basically any christian country can get it provided certain conditions are met. Austria and Castille are certainly the most common though and have better odds for various reasons.Once you get the Burgundy PU, you have a chance to inherit it.
