The Wood cams make some very good power, but despite what Bob or anyone else says, they bring a little more noise to the valvetrain. Some grinds are louder than others, but the trade-off is generally a motor that makes a bit more power than a comparative cam from a different company.In my opinion and others, the 555 and the 777 underperform in the 103 configuration. I had Woods TW777, which worked well, but that being said, this configuration will be more stock as far as the engine is concerned. Meaning the pistons, heads, and whatnot will be stock. I ride over 20K a year.

I would think by looking at the Woods dyno result for the 5-6 cam that for your stated purpose it would be best fulfilled by the 5-6 cam. 5-6 cam shows tremendous torque and it comes on soon for low end scoot ! The 777 cam is not a low end torque cam and you need to run the bike over the 3000 rpm range to get the cam to perform.
