It is not only responsible for pumping the refrigerant throughout the AC system but also converting the refrigerant from gaseous state to liquid state as it passes through the condenser. Condensor replaced under recall in April 2021. About a month later, the Compressor pulley starts making a grinding noise, like a coffee grinder. Make an appointment at my Subaru dealer today. On the phone they made it sound like it would be a warranty issue, because clearly it is related to the condenser. Not the case when I walk in.
